Description

This is a recording of Curly Herdman (who I've since learned was one of the finest fiddle players of his day)which is on a disc from Soundcraft and is marked "Audition" at the top of the label. The two pieces recorded are "Last Train Blues" & "Mocking Bird" which are hand written along with the name "Curley Herdman" on both sides. The "e" in Curley is on the record whereas the "e" is left out when researching him. The disc is in VG-EX condition only a few smudges. I was told not to play these kind of discs or clean them for some reason, someone indicating they were "acetate" which I know next to nothing about. However,I thought someone might collect these (home?) recordings that came to me through an estate sale. There are four holes punched in the label (?) which all of these kind have for some reason.
