Description

I absolutely love when Fuller switched to a more ethereal sound over the bop and swing vibes. It just sounds like him playing the way he wants to, and while listening I find myself imagining greats (albeit not trombone players like Curtis) at this style like Woody Shaw, Coltrane himself, and more.

This Netherlands pressing sounds great, the vinyl looks great, the sleeve is just made out of much thinner / cheaper (?!?) stock. There is a tiny bit of wear along edges and bottom seam has began to split, what looks like the dried glue variety (not actual tearing). Image looks great still against the black backdrop and the blue font pops. GREAT RECORD, highly recommend it especially if you’re curious on jazz trombonists. He’s the one to start with in my opinion.
