Description
With a line-up that resembles a Blue Note Classic, this United Artists LP #4041; Curtis Fuller Sextet: Sliding Easy is a rare example of fine, fine jazz on that label. Leader Curtis Fuller is joined by a who's who of (then) modern jazz; Lee Morgan, Hank Mobley, Tommy Flanagan, Paul Chambers, & Elvin Jones, with arrangements by Benny Golson & Gigi Gryce. The tunes are: Bit of Heaven Down Home I Wonder Where Our Love Has Gone Bongo Pop When Lights Are Low C.T.A. The vinyl is NM - and looks unplayed. The jacket is good, except that someone with dirty fingers picked up the jacket at some point, leaving greasy fingerprints on the back (see photo). The front is beautiful, with a nice sheen. Spines are intact, with some minor shelf wear on 2 of the 4 corners.
