Description

This is Prestige/ New Jazz Records 8277, Curtis Fuller With Red Garland, a purple label, early mono issue of this wonderful recording with RVG stamped in the dead wax. The record is in VG+(+) (a strong VG+) condition showing some light marks but playing quietly with some light background audible mostly on the two ballad tracks. The cover (with Status record back) has an 8" split on the spine but is otherwise unblemished. The labels are excellent. The record was played on a Linn Sondek LP12 in mono mode and cleaned ultrasonically and on a VPI 17. This is an excellent collector's grade copy of this great record.
