Description
This is the original deep groove RVG-stamped “P”-pressing of Curtis Fuller “Volume 3” on the West 63rd labels of Blue Note BLP 1583. The playing surface has inaudible storage splotching and an inaudible scuff on Side 1; otherwise, the sound quality is superb throughout. The laminated West 63rd cover has ¼” wear on the top seam at the opening; the front opening edge has ¼” wear at the middle and 1” wear at the top; the bottom seam has 1” wear/split at the opening and three small areas of lamination flaking; the back slick shows normal age toning and a ½” chip at the lower left corner. Personnel include Art Farmer, Sonny Clark, George Tucker, and Louis Hayes. $1000.00.
