Description
This is the original RVG-stamped pressing of Curtis Fuller “With Red Garland” on the purple and silver labels of New Jazz NJLP 8277. The playing surface is in excellent condition, with a light inaudible haze; pressing defect on the second track of Side 2 makes nine light tics/thumps. The textured cover has a neat 3” repair on the top seam at the opening and ½” wear at the spine; the bottom seam has five paper flakes – 1/8”, ¼”, ½” (2), and ¾”. Personnel include Sonny Red, Paul Chambers, and Louis Hayes. The back slick is signed at the top “Best wishes always C.B, Sonny” and “Peace and Love Curtis Fuller”. $100.00.
