Description

Monster rare original first pressing of this psych prog classic.  Daevid Allen with former Soft Machine bandmate Robert Wyatt on drums,Gary Wright from Spooky Tooth, Maggie Bell from Stone the Crows, as well asChristian Tritsch and Pip Pyle from Gong.  A real classic LP.
This is the ultra rare French first pressing on the BYG Actuel 45 label with catalogue number 529.345. The Matrix / Runout on Side A is BYG 529345 A and on Side B is BYG 529 345 B.  The second run by BYG in 1971 had the black record label, but this is the much rarer very first issue with the yellow record label and glossy LP cover on the outside and inside of the gatefold LP cover. The second issue recently sold on ebay for over £130, I've not seen a first pressing like this come up for a few years.  It is with great regret that I choose to part with this, but sadly I can't justify owning it when I have young children who have made Christmas lists the length of War & Peace.  Hope it goes to a good home.
CONDITION:
COVER - NEAR MINT - The gatefold sleeve is almost immaculate and has a beautiful sheen to it.  The spine is undamaged and pristine with the text entirely legible.  There are no splits, writing or frays.
RECORD - NEAR MINT TO EXCELLENT - The vinyl looks as if it has hardly been played.  The labels are clean and vibrant and the black vinyl has a glossy shine to it.  There are the usual minuscule hairline scratches only visible when held directly under the light caused by removal from the inner sleeve, these do not effect play.  Any marks seen in the photos are not on the vinyl, but reflections or smudges on my camera lens.
INNER SLEEVE - GOOD - The original sleeve with French text is yellowing with age, but it is over 40 years old.  There is slight splitting at the bottom and sides and a tiny piece has been torn off at the top, but it is intact.
The record shall be sent to the lucky winner very well packaged and in a protective sleeve.  Due to the rarity of the record, I'm afraid I will only send by registered post.

Many thanks for looking.

Please see my 100% positive feedback.  In over 10 years, I have never received negative.  Bid with confidence.
