Their first and best 45, recorded in Tacoma, back when the band was still headquartered in Seattle.
This was long before San Francisco and the Avalon Ballroom... and long before L.A., where the
group's Doug Hastings was picked by the Buffalo Springfield to replace Neil Young.
"Jack Of Diamonds" was their finest moment, loaded with 1966 garage punk power.
It was recorded very loud, and that's the way it plays!
Buy more than one record, and save on postage.
I can send two 45s overseas for the same price as one. And speaking of that price --
To my overseas customers: The U.S. postal service has raised its rates... AGAIN!
I want you to know that the higher shipping charges are THEIR fault, not mine.
Thanks to this substantial rate hike, the days of
shipping a well-protected 45 for just 7 or 8 U.S. dollars are over.
The higher rates affect ALL packages sent to locations outside the United States, and all
buyers and sellers are affected.
Another important note: More and more packages sent overseas are getting hung up
in customs. It is not unusual for some packages to take several weeks to reach buyers,
even though they're being sent out within a day or two of payment.
Germany, France, Italy, Greece, and Australia have all reported longer than
usual customs delays. Please be patient -- I mail packages out very quickly,
but the rest is up to the postal service!
