DAKOTA on Tiger Lily Records! One of the earliest and easily one of the rarest of all on this infamous and highly obscure U.S. tax write-off label (TL 14006) from 1976 with only 8 tracks and NO mention of the band members or track lengths! In fact, this album is so whacked that there are songs on the label that don't appear on the back cover AND vice versa, OR they are completely out of track order! It is actually SO rare that I have NEVER seen it offered in over 25 years of collecting, and CERTAINLY NOT within the past 2 1/2 years since I began researching the value of my apparently amazing collection, so I would truly doubt that you will ever come across another, especially in this unbeatable NEAR MINT/NEAR MINT top condition with no more than a couple of very faint paper scuffs which are barely visible under a bright light and at least 98% STILL IN SHRINK!!! NO spindle marks either and the hole is so tight that it barely fit when I play graded it after it had been sitting forlorn for at least 20 years in the back of my bedroom on a shelf! Utilizing lead guitar, keys, bass, drums and vocals with a rural melodic laid back feel and encompassing several styles (1 track is an entirely instrumental rocker and they manage to rock pretty well on several other tracks also!), I'm quite sure that I will NEVER see another copy pass my way! Once again, my loss is your gain. A reasonable (I think) reserve on this beauty!
