Description

DAMAGE "self titled" 4 song 7 inch ep

Spacefish Records 1984

Info:  Alright collectors of rare Florida punk, here is an extremely rare original pressing of the debut 7 inch 4 song ep by Orlando, Florida's first hardcore punk band DAMAGE.  Released in 1984 on the bands own Spacefish Records label.  DAMAGE were different from all the other 80's hardcore punk bands of the era for one reason.  NO GUITARS!!!  You heard me right, these guys used Synths called Keytars that were straped to them like guitars so the members could still jump around like loons.  DAMAGE played with many of the great old hardcore bands of the 80's including DEAD KENNEDYS, BLACK FLAG, CIRCLE JERKS, ADRENALIN O.D., BELCHING PENGUINS, ROACH MOTEL, F, and DRI to name a few.  Jello Biafra said that DAMAGE were one of his favorite bands.  A must have for fans of old school fast 80's hardcore punk.  Comes with the original xeroxed hand folded DIY cover.

Cover Condition:   excellent

Vinyl Condition: excellent

All records ship in heavy cardboard record mailers. I do all of my mailing on Monday and / or Tuesday of each week. If for any reason you are unhappy with your purchase PLEASE let me know and I'll do my best to make the customer happy. I strive for perfect feedback.

After many months of roadtrips scouring record stores and conventions I am happy to say that hardcore-dinosaur is back to selling rare and obscure punk, powerpop, heavy metal, rockabilly and garage vinyl again.  I have amassed a huge amount of super rare and obscure private label and small label releases from 1977-1986.  Please check out my other auctions this month as I unload a great selection of vinyl.   Happy bidding!!!
