VINTAGE 78RPM RECORDINGS IN ALBUM
DAME NELLIE MELBA
Padarewski, John McCormack, Alma Gluck, Efrem Zimbalist & More!
This maroon coloured fabric covered COLUMBIA album is in excellent, authentic vintage condition. The cover does have some areas of light wear however the binding remains firm holding 12 perfect and clean brown paper record sleeves each protectively storing a superb vintage record - no tears or creases.
Each record is in superb, dare I say almost new, excellent and clean condition. The collector of vintage records will be truly delighted.
The star of this wonderful vintage album are the four recordings by Australia's first and best loved Diva, Dame Nellie Melba. Hear Melba as our grandparent's would remember her.
Melba's recordings include:
- Oh! for the Wings of a Dove / Home Sweet Home
- Annie Laurie / Belive Me, If All Those Endearing Young Charms
- Donde Lieta Usci, Al Tuo Crido D'Amore / Si, Mi Chiamano Mimi (both in Italian from Puccini's La Boheme)
- O Lovely Night / Sweet Bird That Shunn'st The Noise of Folly

Postage within Victoria is most likely to be $7.70 but as the album is heavy, postage will be determined at end of auction. Postage interstate may be around $16 or so depending just where you are located. Pick-up is very welcome by arrangement from Mont Albert North or during business hours from Kew.
