Well now, here we have DANTALIAN'S CHARIOT with "The Madman Running Through The Fields" which is, without doubt, now widely accepted as one of the truly ESSENTIAL and LEGENDARY masterpieces of UK Psych!!!
The band line-up was ZOOT MONEY (vocals/keyboards), Andy Summers (guitars), Pat Donaldson (bass) and Colin Allen (drums). As Richie Unterberger put it: "This 1967 effort was British pop-psych at its zenith, strongly reminiscent of (and as good as) the classic early sides by Syd Barrett's Pink Floyd. What made it all the stranger was that it was the debut single by a group of veteran musicians who, just a few months earlier, had been playing jazz/R&B fusion as ZOOT MONEY'S BIG ROLL BAND. Money, a journeyman keyboard player and singer, had made a few records without getting anything close to a hit; his band featured a young ANDY SUMMERS, over a decade before the guitarist would reach stardom with THE POLICE."

[M] Mint. Unopened, still factory sealed
[M-] Near Mint. Near perfect, played rarely if ever.
[VG++] Almost like new with only superficial signs of use that dont affect play. Only well cared for records will grade out to VG++.
[VG+] Vinyl may show some slight signs of wear and may have slight scuffs or light scratches that dont effect the sound
The cover may have slight signs of wear.
(VG) Surface noise will be noticeable, but will not overpower the music. The cover may have writing or tape.
(G) This album can play through without skipping, but there will be significant surface noise and scratches. The cover may have splits, writing, tape, or stickers on it.
