Description
Stunning original 1969 USA copy of this all time top Northern Soul dance classic from DARRELL BANKS with "I'M THE ONE WHO LOVES YOU" on the US VOLT imprint # VOA 4014 and backed with "JUST BECAUSE YOUR LOVE IS GONE". Currently valued at £200 in mint minus condition in the latest Manship Guide so exceptional value for a disc in this condition and of such rarity.
The disc plays superbly with top audible quality and is best described as excellent plus verging towards mint minus with just the barest of crackle on the lead in and run out groove and just the lightest of sleeve rubs. It comes still paired with an original company sleeve. Labels are lovely and clean on both sides with some light storage rubs (see both scans on close up) and, the customary deletion drill hole but still a fabulous and rare disc to grace any collection that comes from my personal collection.
Hard to find in any condition let alone one as good as this that's escaped the heavy plays associated with clubs. Only selling because of the recent acquisition of the original UK issue.
