Description

Here's an exceptionally rare artifact: a set of two 180g vinyl test pressings, containing ONLY SIDE 1 AND SIDE 2 from the MFSL vinyl issue of Dave Alvin's Blackjack David. The first disc contains the three tracks from side 1 on both sides ("Blackjack David," "Abilene" and "New Highway"); while the second disc contains the two tracks from side 2 on both sides ("California Snow" and "Evening Blues"). Interestingly, according to what's printed on the labels, this set was pressed on September 6, 2002, which is about four years before the actual release date for MFSL's vinyl issue. Both records are near-mint and include the original stamped plain white covers. See pics above!
