Description
- The Dave Brubeck Quartet released their landmark album "Time Out" in December 1959 on Columbia Records. It reached No. 2 on the pop charts and was the first jazz album to sell more than one million copies. The single release of "Take Five" was also the first jazz single to sell over one million copies.
- This copy of (CS 8192) is from the First Pressing and is in surprisingly good condition considering it is now over 62-years-old. The cover does show the edge wear and fading you would expect from an album of this age but it is still in VG condition. Please see the pictures. The disc has a few scuffs but Test Plays with no skips and only slight static in a few quiet spots and is also VG. The Side One dead wax is stamped XSM47855 2AL and etched 11V.
- This album will come with a high quality Anti-Static Round Bottom Inner Sleeve and a sturdy 3 mil. polyethylene Archival Quality Outer Sleeve. It will ship securely in the special corrugated Album Mailer seen in the last picture.
