PROLIFIC PROGRESSIVE rock composer and leader of the well respected and popular Greenslade. This is in essence the final Greenslade album but issued under his full name of Dave Greenslade. It is without doubt the hardest of his albums to find as most of the Greenslade albums - like Gentle Giant - sold reasonably well, but this one tanked big time and finished his career. The music is complex and demanding prog rock still very much in the style of his former band with long tracks, exacting instrumental work and forceful arrangements. Really, quite an extraordinary work with superb backing musicians including drummer Simon Phillips, bassist Tony Reeves (Greenslade), vocalist Steve Gould (Rare Bird) and guitarist Mick Grabham (Procol Harum) to name but a few.
This auction is part of a fantastic collection of seventies rock which I was lucky enough to acquire. Most of these records were stored with the utmost care and sparsely played. Some were possibly never played or may have been for just a handful of times.

Vinyl: Nice clean and shiny condition. No spindle marks on labels and no other signs of use. Grades as shop fresh MINT!
Cover: Again, absolutely no signs of any use. Issued in a beautifully designed (by Roger Dean) cover. Sharp corners, no bends, no ring wear, no split seams top and no creases. Grades as top shop fresh MINT!
