Description
A wonderful Latin/salsa jazz album well under the radar screen by Herbie Mann's 60's vibist DAVE PIKE and an all star band including CACHAO, WILLIE BOBO, POTATO VALDES, HUBERT LAWS, CHICK COREA and HERBIE MANN himself (under a fake name). Funky 60's New York salsa jazz at it's best. Original 60's pressing of Decca DL 4568 - MANHATTAN LATIN - "The Sensuous Rhythms of Spanish Harlem" by Dave Pike. The disc is a super handsome, sparkling fresh VG+++, many would call it NRMT. Seldom played and very well cared for. In original inner sleeve. Cover has minor storage wear but is intact with no split seams. Tiny price sticker on front. Song titles: LA PLAYA, BABY, LATIN BLUES, QUE MAL ES QUERER, NOT A TEAR, MAMBO DINERO, MONTUNA ORITA, APHRODITE, SOUTH SEA, SANDUNGA, VIKKI and DREAM GARDEN. Great 60's New York soulful Latin jazz.
