Incredibly clean copy of a fragile rare unboxed decca first pressing. Find a better cleaner copy. nm Nm archive copy. looks almost new to the eye and lens. clean playing copy with possibly odd pop etc . super rare in this nm state.Unplayed for over a decade now but top audio from memory. Full treble play grade for side one. Opening run in grooves are NM throughout maybe MINT it really does sound like it was pressed last week, quiet in all passages some pops but scarce and super clear audio, the best I have heard this album, a full Mono experience, an archive copy to me. Side two opening grooves have some faint crackle,pops this could be dirt perhaps (bear in mind this hasn't been near a turntable for nearly 15 years!!) sound is again NM to MINT with some faint crackle in between the odd track. All clear audio, no distortion, a fine Decca example of a commonly worn album....there are none on auction on this site that get any where near to the condition this rare pressing is in. A real find.the songs are a real test for any pressing due to just guitar and vocals with many very quiet passages that always reveal surface noise and scuffing etc. nothing remotely close to that on this one. Not sure if they'll be another this clean to be honest, so grab it before it gets returned to the collection.... There are almost no copies of Davy's classic decca debut release that have survived in such almost new condition other than the super slight spindle shown it really is clean and fresh the spine is uncrushed legible clean. . Low starting price for this super rare example.you will not find another one this fresh.....
