Description
HAT stereo mix first run on blue and silver unboxed DECCA. Plays looks ex clean some occasional crackle pop minor tick full treble tested. No distortion, great sound of the fine playing of Davy. Labels ex+ disc is strong EX+Sleeve has handling etc so VG+ side two on Pretty Polly has a mark scuffing that is audible on a portion of the front of the song but otherwise strong EX Side two. Rare , but even rarer signed. This was signed for Bill Fay/Oasis/weller/Dr John musician guitarist Matt Deighton nearly fifteen years ago when he ran some folk evenings in central London. Davey came out of semi retirement to play a one off Christmas show to a select few. During the evening he signed some of Matt's original Lps, much to the surprise of Davy's friends who noted he rarely signs any of his records. This is an opportunity to grab yourself a signed copy of his rare album from 1969 sleeve is VG some marks,etc Ex surface plays ex+ some crackle in between tracks occasionally but play graded on FULL TREBLE. Side one between EX- to EX++ bright clear audio,some carckel as mentioned, pops etc full range sound no distortion, shiny surface, tidy clean labels, a great copy. side two similar grading as side one, clean except noticeable scuff mark (visible only on end of Stans Guitar) and audible on opening parts of Pretty Polly (VG in that area mentioned eventhough no distortion and great sound still above the scuff sound which doesn't last too long anyway ) the label has a rare mis spelling which reads PRETTY PODLY !!!! indicating a very early run of this Davy classic from 1969
