Description

A bit of a gem - Davy Grahams folk/blues classic track Angi plus Davy's Train Blues and 3/4 AD track on TOPIC Label TOP70 1962 in maroon Pic Sleeve - This is the first issue.with the mauve sleeve and cream label In some ways "Angi" was the start of modern English folk guitar styling - Mike Oldfield named his first band the Sallyangie after this track and Paul Simon amongst others was very influenced by it. The Pic sleeve is showing some signs of wear - with light edge creases and a few light marks showing on the white border - there is a tear running for about an inch and half along the top edge of the sleeve and a small nick at the bottom back sleeve - again there are a few light marks on the back sleeve and noticable creases on the edges of the sleeve- Dispite these flaws these early TOPIC sleeves are very fragile at the best of times - This comes with the original inner sleeve - again a few noticable creases - The record itself is in VG condition with a few light marks I suspect caused by the inner paper sleeve - There are a few audible crackles - But nothing too horrendous - All in all this is a record that has obviously been played - but it really is jolly rare -I try to offer items that are in at least excellent condition but with something this scarce I will make an exception. Thanks for reading No reserve on this - and good luck with your bids,
