David Allan Coe, in a few years after the recording of this album, came to be known as one of the original Country Outlaws. Here, he's just a former outlaw. His first LP ever, released in 1969, was recorded not long after Coe got out of jail for the upteenth time. Not into Country yet, this LP consists of Blues & Rock with all but one of the titles written by Coe. Now a RARE LP, it has a great Die-Cut gatefold cover that gives the appearance of Coe still behind bars, and the back cover has some great early color photos of him. Hear DAC when he first hit the recording scene that started a long career that continues to this day!
