Description
Up for auction is a very nice original pressing of the David Bowie album Aladdin Sane, released in the U.S. on RCA Records (LSP-4852) in 1973:
-Guaranteed original first pressing, NOT recent reissue -Original and correct orange RCA 'dynaflex' labels
-Original Gatefold cover -Original inner sleeve w/ lyrics -Rare fan club insert
-Vinyl comes in poly audiophile protective inner sleeve -No UPC/bar code on cover
-NOT a record club pressing
Condition: Cover looks great, no significant signs of wear, no ring wear, no seam splits. Has some typical signs of very light age along spine, but titles are clean. Light faint crease upper left. Corners are sharp. Interior is clean. Spine is still tight, probably has never been opened all the way flat. The original white covers were very prone to age discoloration, but this one is very well preserved and clean. Very attractive and colorful original. Grade: Excellent (EX)
Vinyl also looks great, still retains its original glossy shine. Both sides look very clean, but Side Two has a couple faint superficial marks that do NOT cause any audio problems--the sounds quality is excellent and clean. Labels are clean, no marks around spindle holes. Looks like this record has been played maybe only a couple times at most but handled with care. Nicely preserved. Grade: Excellent (EX), better than most VG+ copies you'll find

I remove the records with inner sleeves from the covers prior to packing. I sandwich the record between two pieces of cardboard for padding and protection. I also reinforce the corners of the shipping box to protect the corners of the record jacket from damage.
