Description
Available here is 12" vinyl LP by David Bowie - Aladdin Sane. Issued by RCA in 1973, it’s a UK 1st pressing, which has the catalogue number RS 1001 (LSP 4852).
Couple of things to bear in mind before bidding on this item. The very earliest copies of this release included a postcard advertising the David Bowie Fan Club but not present here. This item also seems to have left the UK at some point - the front cover bears an “importe” sticker with neighbouring punch holes to the outer edge (although these only affect the front panel).
Identifiers - Matches Discogs first pressing information in terms of the stamped matrix but with alternative etchings.

Vinyl Condition - Excellent - The record is very bright and clean and probably little played. You’ll have to look hard to find any surface marks and there are no worrying scratches. Having listened all the way through, I can confirm that there is no jumping or sticking, with one or two light clicks heard. Background crackle/noise is present on occasions but not excessively loud and in any event only really evident during quieter moments.
Cover/Sleeve Condition - Very Good - Original outer gatefold cover which I’ve graded to reflect the import sticker and accompanying punch holes. Otherwise, only the lightest signs of wear with a small sticker to the back panel. Inner printed lyric card sleeve is in excellent condition.
