My copy of Blackstar arrived one day ahead of release :) but it is officially out today as I list this so HAPPY BIRTHDAY DAVID.
In my excitement I opened it and slightly tore the cover as shown in the photo's. Bugger!
It's not that bad and with any other artist / album I would be able to accept it but I am a collector of all things Bowie and it has to be 110% perfect :) The record comes in a beautiful laminate inner sleeve to protect it as all Bowie albums should be.
I played the album on my Rega 6 and this is definitely one of Bowie's very best albums, no kidding.
I am very fussy so will need to get a new copy so here is a chance to get a bargain copy with very little damage. The artwork is as superb as the music. Black on black may sound silly but it is sheer class and the credits and lyrics are easily readable.
