New Sealed! 2016 David Bowie - Blackstar - ISO Records US RTI Pressing on 180 Gram Black Vinyl LP in Die-Cut Gatefold Jacket with Booklet. This Rare & Desirable Pressing is in Pristine New Sealed Condition. It has become very difficult to find one of these US pressings in this Pristine New Sealed Condition. Blackstar is David Bowie's 28th studio album and his first since stunning the world in 2013 with the critically acclaimed 'The Next Day'. The release date for Blackstar coincides with David's birthday. The album's title track is the first single, and is accompanied by a short film visual by the acclaimed director Johan Renck. Music from the Blackstar single has been featured in the opening title credits and trailers for the new TV series The Last Panthers. The series, also directed by Johan Renck, began airing across Europe in late October, 2015, and will premiered in the U.S. on SundanceTV in the Spring of 2016.

Bowie fans consider this final Bowie studio album a masterpiece that serves as a beautiful meditation on death, with excellent production and a hauntingly sad emotional depth. The album features a jazz feel and receives praise for its incredible artistry.

Released in a gatefold sleeve with clear plastic wallet housing the vinyl, and a 16 page 12" x 12" square booklet insert.
Includes a coupon with a download code for a digital copy of the full album.

This was a special exclusive pressing by Record Technology Incorporated, commissioned by Amazon USA to clear back orders of this release that MPO could not provide due to the massive demand of this release in early 2016. The record was pressed from February 1st until March 31st, and then was discontinued when MPO was able to supply Amazon with future releases of this LP.

This has a distinctive catalogue number etched out on the run out rim of 25697-1(3). Other distinguishing features are a raised up small ridged ring around the spindle hole, and the extra thickness of the gatefold sleeve when placed side by side with the MPO pressing. This release continued to carry the 2015 date on its back cover.
