Description
A collection of nine DAVID BOWIE audio cassettes that were mostly issued circa 1990 after Bowie had re-licensed his earlier recordings to EMI and RYKO, making the whole idea seem more attractive by including some rare and previously unknown tracks to encourage fans & collectors to buy music that they might already have, thus -
1) THE MAN WHO SOLD THE WORLD (EMI TCEMC 3573) has the previously unknown track LIGHTNING FRIGHTENING
2) LOW (EMI TCEMD 1027) has the previously unknown tracks SOME ARE and ALL SAINTS and a re-mixed version of SOUND AND VISION
3) HEROES (EMI TCEMD 1025) has the bonus tracks ABDULMAJID and JOE THE LION
4) PIN-UPS (RYKO RACS 0136) has the bonus tracks GROWIN' UP and PORT OF AMSTERDAM
5) DIAMOND DOGS (RYKO RACS 0137) has the bonus tracks DODO and CANDIDATE
6) CHANGESBOWIE (EMITSDBTV 1) is a compilation with 21 tracks
7) HUNKY DORY (EMI TCEMC 3572) has the previously unreleased BOMBERS, alternative mixes of THE SUPERMAN and THE BEWLAY BROTHERS and the demo of QUICKSAND.
8) ALADDIN SANE (EMI TCEMC 3579) has the usual 10 tracks
9) ZIGGY STARDUST (EMI TCEMC 3577) has 16 tracks including the previously unreleased ZIGGY STARDUST demo & the unreleased LADY STARDUST and SWEET HEAD
These audio cassettes were originally bought for research purposes because the folded card inserts contain information that was not available elsewhere; most of the tapes have never been played.
