Description
David Bowie’s 1976 compilation Changesonebowie is one of the most recognizable and commercially successful overviews of his early career, released at the height of his Thin White Duke era. This is a first pressing 1976 U.S. RCA Victor issue, featuring the original black RCA label with the dog logo and catalog number AQL1 1732 as shown on the labels and rear jacket.
Graded EX/EX/NM. The vinyl is EX with strong gloss and clean surfaces. The cover is EX with solid structure and clean presentation, showing light, honest age wear only. The inner sleeve is NM and exceptionally well preserved. Please refer to all photos for detailed visuals of the vinyl, jacket, and sleeve as customers have varying standards for grading criteria.
Deadwax inscriptions visible in the photos show AQL1 1732 A and AQL1 1732 B matrix markings consistent with a 1976 first pressing RCA Victor U.S. release. Labels display Side A Stereo AQL1 1732 A and Side B Stereo AQL1 1732 B. Rear cover copyright reads 1976 RCA Records, confirming first year issue status.
Tracklist includes Space Oddity, John I’m Only Dancing, Changes, Ziggy Stardust, Suffragette City, The Jean Genie, Diamond Dogs, Rebel Rebel, Young Americans, Fame, and Golden Years. As Bowie transitioned into his mid 70s sound, this compilation captured the defining glam and art rock era material that built his global reputation.
