Description

For sale is an original pressing of David Bowie David Live double LP on the orange RCA label. All sides have hand etched matrix numbers as follows:

Side 1 matrix:  APL2 0771-A-2E (Also A3G etched some way past main number)

Side 2 matrix:  APL2 0771-B-1E (Also has etched Side 2 and A4AT past main number)

Side 3 matrix:  APL2 0771-C-1E (Also has etched Side 3 and A5AB past main number)

Side 4 matrix:  APL2 0771-D-2E (Also has etched Side 4, A1Y and BILBO past main number)

 

CONDITION

Please note that I can only grade visually and therefore cannot confirm if any marks on the records, where present, affect playing in anyway. Please see photos for more detail. Although, due to reflections and fineness, it is difficult to show any scuffs/marks etc in a photo/

 

Records: The records have retained their glossy finish but all4 sides look played with surface marks/scratches/scuffs. Sides 3 and 4 looking more marked than sides 1 & 2.  I wish I could play them to see what effect these marks have on playback but unfortunately, I can't. So, this one is a bit of a gamble but priced to reflect the visible condition.

 

Main outer Sleeve: The gatefold sleeve is laminated and does show signs of wear particular;y on the rear at the top, left corner. The spine is in really good shape though and when opened up the inside of thegatefold sleeve is in very good shape.

 

Inner Sleeves: Both picture inner sleeves are similar condition in that they do show fairly minor handling and edge wear but fo not have any splits in the edges.
