DAVID BOWIE "Rubber Band" USA DJ PROMO ONLY - RARE! - 1966 Deram 7" 45RPM vinyl. Other versions of the rubber band single feature tracks the laughing gnome and the London boys. Other tracks from his self-titled LP on Deram include another great 45, love you till Tuesday b/ w did you ever have a dream.

This is the rare early 1966 effort by David Bowie; USA promotional mono copy features the groovy A-side & the alternate US b-side "There is a Happy Land". Both tracks were featured on his rare and very expensive debut Deram LP "David Bowie". Presumably this USA single was issued a bit after the U.K. issue which had already been released in 1966. Apparently only ever issued in USA as a promotional item. 



Condition of record: VG+


Excellent sheen, looks barely played, light wear, very nice. Slight background noise with my Panasonic home system. Sounds much better and unnoticeable on my SL1200s with Ortofon needles.

Labels feature good coloring, light wear, all other lettering visible. Enjoy this one!
