Description

For instant sale is an overall excellent condition copy of a first UK pressing from 1974 of the 'DIAMOND DOGS' album by DAVID BOWIE on the RCA RECORDS label (APL 1 0576).  A genuine first UK pressing, it has the matrix numbers A-1oly AND B-1oly in the runout grooves. 
The sleeve is in overall excellent condition with just a very small amount of corner and edgewear.  The spine is sharp, clean and fully readable. However, there is an old, small price sticker on the top right corner of the sleeve front which you can see in the first photo - with care, though, this should be easily removable.  Please study all the photos to see the condition for yourself.  The glossy labels are in excellent condition with just a few spindle trails.  The record has several light surface marks but no deep scratches.  On playback it plays really well with a great sound but it does have some surface noise ('crackle') at times.  However, definitely no loud 'pops', 'sticks' or 'jumps'.  The 'crackle' is only really noticeable during quieter passages and between tracks and when the music kicks in then you can't really hear it at all.  Perhaps a good clean would solve most of these issues.
