This record is in fair+ condition. It has spindle marks visible but no pen marks, scuffs or severe fading. There is a little wear around the centre holes but these are not loose and overall the labels are in pretty good shape.

As for the vinyl itself, both sides have lots of very light surface lines visible in normal light. There is also a nasty scratch across tracks 1 and 2 on side 1. This can be felt in parts, doesnt look great and its musical impact will be described below. When viewed under bright light the light surface lines are clearly visible and the record has clearly been well played and not looked after very well.

Despite this I cleaned and play tested the record and it plays pretty well despite the light lines. Firstly it lays flat and there is little movement in the record arm upon playing. The nasty scratch mentioned above does however cause audible clicks. These can be heard clearly for the first 30-40 seconds of track 1 and then very faintly in the background throughout. They become prominent towards the end and are clearly audible between tracks 1 and 2 and a lot of track 2. So overall the audio in these two tracks isnt ideal, but also isnt horrific for the majority, with no skips just these clicks. Once this mark passes, which is around 3/4 of the way into track 2 the rest of side 1 plays well with only light surface noise audible and no further loud clicks. Side 2 plays similar to the end of side 2 with no really stand out problems and no skips or sticks. So overall this is a well used record that has this nasty scratch, but despite this I feel it could still bring some enjoyment to someone as the majority of the audio is pretty decent.

The gatefold sleeve is in fair+ condition. It has considerable edge and corner wear which has caused splits on the spine and bottom edges. The split on the spine isnt fully developed but there is a 1.5" one there or devloping. There is also ugly wear along most of the spine(pics). The bottom edge has a 5" split in the centre and a 2" split from the right corner. So over 60% is split! Other than the edge wear the sleeve has mild ring marks and some general age related grubbiness. There are no pen marks, tears or scuffs anywhere so the main issue is just the edge wear/splits. Please study the pictures well to try and gain as much information as possible to its condition.

It includes a plain white inner which is in very good+ condition. It has no splits, tears or pen marks but has light creasing and slight age related discolouring/staining.

So to summarise, this record hasnt been well looked after and if you are after a pristine copy then it isnt for you. However if you can live with the clicks in tracks 1 and 2, and the appearance of the vinyl and sleeve then you may get a classic record with decent audio overall.

The record will be packaged in cardboard stiffeners and bubble wrapped thoroughly when dispatched. It will also be sent in a brand new protective plastic sleeve, and within 24hrs of receiving payment to ensure swift delivery.
