Up for auction is a beautiful original copy of the David Bowie album Diamond Dogs, originally released in the U.S. on RCA Records (CPL1-0576) in 1974:
-Guaranteed original pressing, not reissue -1st Press STERLING mastering stamp in deadwax
-Correct original orange RCA labels -Original "dynaflex" pressing -Original gatefold cover -No UPC/bar code on cover
Note: The true first pressings of this album have the rare orange RCA dynaflex labels like this copy.  Most copies sold as "original" on eBay have the 2nd pressing "tan" RCA labels.  Serious collectors should know the difference.

Condition: Cover is in nice condition, clean and bright.  Has some very light rubbing on front and back, and to a few seams, but nothing serious, as you can see from the photos.  No significant ring wear, no seam splits.  Corners show a little rub.  Gatefold spine is tight, probably has never been opened all the way flat.  Titles clean.  Nice original!
Grade: Excellent (EX), better than typical VG+ copies

Vinyl looks very nice, still has its original shine.  No apparent scratches or scuffs, just some faint superficial signs of having been taken out of paper inner sleeve a few times.  Side Two has two very tiny superficial pressing marks, hard to see, and hardly worth mentioning, and they do NOT affect the quality of playback, which is excellent.  Labels are clean, no marks around spindle holes.  Looks like this record has maybe been played only a couple times previously but handled with care.  Very clean original! Grade: Excellent (EX)
