Description

This is an auction for a FIRST PRESSING of Bowie's classic Hunky Dory LP from 1971. This particular LP was released before he signed to the 'Mainman' agency and his breakthrough shortly afterwards, and thus has the 'Titanic Music' credits on the label, and GEM Production on the sleeve.

The sleeve has some shelf wear, and minor creases, and the vinyl is in lovely clean condition (see photos). Apart from a couple of clicks in the opening bars of 'Fill Your Heart which don't affect play, the LP plays perfectly with very little surface noise even in the quietest moments of songs like Quicksand and Eight Line Poem (see photos).

A lovely example of an iconic LP.
