Description

Here is an original UK pressing of Hunky Dory with the laminated front cover, first press matrixes endings (3T/3T) and etched with 'Bobil' and 'Rasputin'.

The cover is intact and complete with no seam splits, but it has various signs of age and use, including creases, wear, ring-wear, scuffs, marks and stains etc. The labels look great with some spindle markings but no writing, stickers, tears or damage. The vinyl has numerous signs of play and use with lots of fine hairlines and some more-prominent marks but it generally plays better than you might expect from a simple visual examination. I have played the entire record and would say that both sides start off with some clicks and noise, but they get progressively better as the sides go on. There are no jumps or skips anywhere. Side one starts off around Good to Very Good and ends up around Very Good plus to Excellent, so overall I would play-grade side one as Very Good (VG). Similarly, side two is a bit noisy at the beginning, but sounds great by the end, so I am also play-grading side two as Very Good (VG).
