DAVID BOWIE “HUNKY DORY” LP 1971 NM Textured RCA Hollywood Pressing LSP-4623
David Bowie's fourth studio album "Hunky Dory", released by RCA Victor (catalog no. LSP-4623) in December of 1971. This is the earlier of two versions with identical runouts but different sleeves: this one was issued with a texured, flat/matte front sleeve and a matte sepia-coloured rear, and does NOT include the statement "Rick Wakeman is an exclusive recording artist of A&M Records, inc." However he is still credited for piano.
~ Vinyl is in EX to NM condition with no visible scratches, certainly nothing that would impair the audio. The disc retains most, if not all, of its original gloss and shine. Most considerably, it sounds fantastic and plays through without any skips, pops or distortion of any kind. A really beautiful and well-cared-for copy overall.
~ Sleeve is in EX condition with absolutely no damage; has some very minor shelf/storage wear, like light rubbing along the edges/corners and a few hardly visible spots of discoloration. Comes with original track info and lyrics inner sleeve, the paper has a few wrinkles/creases but no splits or tears. This copy might even be close to NM as it is almost pristine otherwise.
