Description

DAVID BOWIE Hunky Dory Lp UK 1st Press 3T/3T Ex/Ex Non Laminated Sleeve

This record has been vacuum machine cleaned and test played in full on quality hi-fi. My grading is based on the UK record collector grading system.  I will gladly combine postage on multiple items so check out my other records. Thanks

Details:- From my own personal collection - original UK 1st pressing of Hunk Dory by David Bowie. Released on the original orange RCA label, catalogue no. SF 8244. The record comes complete with the original insert. The matrix numbers are:Side 1: APRS 3917 3T (bobil hand etched), Side 2: APRS 3918 3T (Rasputin hand etched)

The sleeve and label have no mainman credits. The label has the Titanic credits. 1st UK pressing.

Vinyl Condition:- EX. Gleaming vinyl with a few very fine hairlines and sleeve brushings only visible when the record is viewed at an angle under very bright light. At the start of side one there is a small mark (minor pressing fault) which just causes three or four light clicks. There is another three or so light click later on this side. Overall the sound quality is lovely and clear, EX grade.

Sleeve Condition:- EX. Tiny amount of wear to corners and just a tiny hint of crease from the record rim in the upper part of the sleeve. Nice crisp fully readable spine. The sleeve insert has a few light creases. On the bottom right of one side there is a light mark caused by liquid, see photo above

Label Condition:- NEAR MINT.

This record seldom comes up for sale. Don't miss your chance!

I always reduce postage on multiple items. Each additional item will only be charged 50% the original postage cost worldwide.  Check out my other rare vinyls!

ALL MY ITEMS ARE REFUNDABLE ON RETURN IF YOU ARE NOT ENTIRELY HAPPY WITH YOUR ITEM

 Grading Abbreviations

Grading below is as stated from UK Record Collector. I also use +/- for records that fall somewhere between a grade

Mint (M)

The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet. booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records marked as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

Excellent (EX)

The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

Very Good (VG)

The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects is acceptable

Good (G)

The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc

Fair (F)

The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.

Poor (P)

The record will not play properly due to scratched, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing

Bad (B) The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler
