David Bowie

No 'Mainman' credit on label or sleeve. Does have 'Bobil' and 'Rasputin' etched on run out grooves.
Matrix Codes
Side 1 - APRS 5947 - 3 1
Side 2 - APRS 5948 - 3 1
Very rare 1st issue vinyl with full gloss orange labels, and the 'Bobil' and 'Rasputin' run out groove text. No "Mainman" credit.
(Once Bowie reached mega stardom with Ziggy Stardust, 'Hunky Dory' was re-issued with his management company's name printed on subsequent labels and sleeves. Very early copies had a laminated sleeve, this one is pre "Mainman" but is unlaminated.)
Release Year 1971
Made in the UK
COMPLETE WITH LYRIC INSERT AND RCA INNER
Vinyl and Labels - V. Good
There are some moderate clicks at the end of the last track, The Bewlay Brothers, but apart from that there is nothing to detract from listening pleasure. There are some light surface marks and a few hairlines but plays to a very good standard overall, no skips or jumps or distortion of sound. A most respectable copy of this very rare, first pressing vinyl, without the "Mainman" credit.
Sleeve- V. Good +
This original, non-laminated sleeve, without the "Mainman" credit is in very condition, with mild, non-excessive, storage/handling wear and some light creases. A great looking sleeve in respectable condition that would make a fantastic addition to someone's rare record collection.
The Lyric insert is in very good condition with some moderate non excessive creases, all text is readable and overall appearance is very good.
Please check my other items.
I am a record collector myself and know how important it is to receive records in the condition in which they are advertised, and for them not to be damaged in transit through inadequate packaging.
Important Notice for Italian Bidders
I will only send out items to Italy if buyer pays the extra cost for tracking and for insurance up to value of item if value exceeds £20.00 as I've had one too many items sent out there which have gone missing.
I send out all my records using strong, stiff cardboard with extra bubble wrap protection. Also, the record is removed from outer and original inner sleeves, placed in a strong non original inner, then it goes inside protective polythene sleeve, side by side with original sleeves.
If the value of the record is over £20.00 GBP insurance up to the value of the record is STRONGLY recommended.
