Description
This is a gently used 12" vinyl LP with the original PS (picture sleeve jacket) by DAVID BOWIE titled LOW. This is the original FIRST PRESSING from 1977 on RCA Records. It's #CPL1-2030 Stereo. This is the original jacket with no song titles or other credits except title, artist, date & record company. The original David Bowie Fan Club insert is included & is in near mint condition. See the pics for further details. The vinyl is VG or slightly lower. It's very clean & shiny and still has the magnetic pull to it when pulling it out of the inner paper sleeve. Like all vinyl, there may or may not be some surface noise when playing. By the looks of the vinyl under a strong light, I see some surface marks & scratches mostly on Side A. They're on tracks from the end of song 4 thru 5 & 6. I can assume they'll be heard so this disclaimer is always needed. I'm not sure if this will affect playing of these songs but the scratches are there. I don't have the equipment to play test the record so this is graded under a strong light. I suggest to PLAY IT LOUD! If you're a serious collector with a record cleaning machine or good cloths & proper record wash, that always helps. The black labels with silver lettering are very clean. NO spindle marks on them. The STERLING name is stamped in the trail off area on both sides between the labels & the last song. The inner sleeve with song titles & credits is in good condition with minor seam splits on both sides from the vinyl. There are some folds/crease marks & one crushed corner. The cardboard jacket is in VG condition with minor dings, marks, etc., around it from handling. It's very clean with very little wear. NO split seams. There is some minor ringwear front & back. There's a small scratch indent in Bowie's red hair on the front & is seen when angled under light. As of this writing, this record is appx 45 years old. I'm very cautious when grading & very critical about it. I may overstate some of the conditions but better safe than sorry! THIS ITEM IS SOLD AS IS. ALL SALES ARE FINAL.
