ABOUT THIS RECORD: This is David Bowie's first 45 (after the Davie Jones 45s from 64 & 65 of course..) where he is promoted as David Bowie. Both sides are Mod-era Bowie classics written by Bowie and produced by the great Tony Hatch. What more can be said? This 45 is a must have for Bowie Collectors, Mod Afficionados & 60s Djs...Both sides are winners! Now, when was the last time you saw a STOCK copy of this 45??? If you are a digger like me, then your answer will be NEVER or not in a VERY LONG time! I've had 3 copies of this 45 in the past 15 years and this is the very first stock copy I have EVER SEEN! BTW, British copies of this 45 on Pye are much more common but will still cost you $ 200+ . Here is a rare opportunity to own this Bowie artifact! Email me with your e-address for an MP3 sample of both sides!!!

For those of you that don’t know me (tymesup1), I’m a 60s DJ/Collector in the New England area who specializes in 60s rock and 60s soul music. Usually I only trade or sell to other 60s djs around the world but sometimes when I need cash to pay bills, to travel or to maintain my expensive record habit, I sell things on Ebay and make some new friends. Over 1000+ positive feedbacks should make you feel confident when doing business with me. I am like many of you; a buyer and music fan first, and a seller only when I have to be. Please check in with me weekly/monthly as I’ll be selling off a few killer spins from my dj boxes and from recent digs….Please add me to your list of favorite sellers esp. if you dig 60s Garage , Beat , 60s & 70s  Soul , Deep Funk , Mod , Psych , Freakbeat, Popcorn , RnB , Boogaloo ,Latin , Groovy Instros , EZ Library, Sitarbeat , Hammond B3, Breaks , Beats , etc… I’ve got lots of records I’m sure you’ll love…Wants lists welcomed!

Bidders with less than 10 positive feedbacks should email me before bidding.

MY VINYL GRADING INFO:

NOTE: I grade using the US grading system so VG+ = EX!!! All records are play-graded and visually graded. My 1000+ positive feedback is proof that I am a conservative grader and an honest seller/buyer who wants you to be satisfied!  IF I SAY IT PLAYS CLEAN, YOU WONT BE DISAPPOINTED! DJ’S WORD!

IF YOU ARE NOT 100% SATISFIED WITH YOUR PURCHASE, RETURN ITEM FOR A FULL REFUND (MINUS POSTAGE OF COURSE!) 100% SATISFACTION & REPEAT BUSINESS IS MY GOAL!

M-: NEW & UNPLAYED. That you can find 60s 45s & Lps in this shape 30+ years later is a MIRACLE! DJs dream condition. Buy Now!

VG+ (aka EX): VERY GOOD PLUS means a few/some light scuffs and/or minor marks that do not look bad nor do they affect play much if at all. Many well loved & well kept 45s & Lps are VG+.  Fine for DJs.

VG: VERY GOOD means some/many scuffs and/or marks that will affect play but not much. Most well loved and well played 45s & LPs are VG.  Still fine for DJs unless noted.

VG-: VERY GOOD MINUS means lots of scuffs, marks and/or light scratches that will affect play but the 45 or Lp is still worth keeping & playing until a better copy turns up. Not recommended for DJs. (DJ Note: I’ve heard cleaned up VG- copies played out at clubs and you’d be surprised! Amazing what a thorough cleaning can do for audio-fidelity!)

P: POOR (aka G/Good or F/Fair) To call a record with loads of scuffs, marks, no luster and scratches GOOD or FAIR is an OVERSTATEMENT! Poor 45s & Lps are just that; Poor looking and Poor playing. Included only due to rarity or as a collection filler.

SLEEVE GRADES:

VG+: Looks nice but some creasing, wear & tear.

VG: Well loved, well handled and some creasing, wear & tear.

PAYMENT OPTIONS:

1. PAYPAL: Recommended for all. Send funds from your PayPal/Credit Card linked account to my account below:

tymesup@hotmail.com

2. US Postal Money Orders:  2ND BEST WAY in US: Available at all US Post Offices.  I can cash them at the Post Office which means I do NOT have to deposit them which means no time delay in filling your order which means you’ll get the record usually within the same week. Pay me with the green ones…

3. US CASH REGISTERED & CONCEALED:  Please send it very well concealed and registered. I do NOT recommend sending an unregistered envelope that looks and feels as if there is cash inside. If it doesn’t get to me because it wasn’t registered, you’ll need to pursue compensation from Postal Services involved and NOT from me. I recommend sending everything Insured & Registered & well concealed ie: in a cassette case, in a mailer box, etc. NOT in a SEE THROUGH FLIMSY ENVELOPE. You can’t insure cash and registering only ensures that the ENVELOPE (NOT the contents ie: cash) gets to its destination. Registering does not prevent theft, unfortunately. Hide it well. Thanks.

***PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF YOU ARE SENDING CASH OR MOs SO I DON’T ASSUME YOU ARE A DEADBEAT BIDDER BECAUSE I HAVEN’T HEARD FROM YOU.   THANKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I’ll get records ready to go out within 3 days (usually) after payment arrives. Most of the time it goes out within 24 hours.

Thanks in advance.

Please check out my other 60s soul, funk, mod, beat, freakbeat, psych & garage auctions.
