Hey! For sale is my own personal copy of the Labyrinth Soundtrack in limited edition lavender. The reason for sale is quite a sad one (for me anyway). My wife bought me this for my birthday just gone as this album has significant meaning to me (first thing I heard of David Bowie... ever since I've been hooked!) even though I don't actually own a record player.
However when I opened it I was visiting my mum that had a record player, so we decided to put it on for a a few minutes, but when I went to put it back in the cover when my mum explained how to hold it (by its edges) and whilst doing so and trying to put it back into the case I dropped it :-( . Anyway I didn't properly examine it afterwards, but when I did I noticed that there was a small mark on side 2 (see photo). So I went to play it again and unfortunately it now skips a little on the first song on that side - As The World Falls Down. You'll also notice a little mark which is (stupidly I know) on the white mark a little darker line which was me thinking I could cover it with a Sharpie. I don't know if that'll effect the play anymore.
To be honest I am not quite sure if I caused the mark on the vinyl as it did not land on the floor, it touched the floor from the edge half way in the cover which I then caught (which is why the cover is a little torn but not very noticable) and as I had literally just opened it and put it to play the mark could have been there when I opened it. Anyway even though my copy is more than likely going to be framed, as it has significant meaning to me I have had to purchase another one, which is why I am sadly selling this one. If like me you are only buying it to frame or one track not playing correctly with a small mark on side 2 does not bother you then you could possibly get yourself a bargin here!
I have been as honest as possible with you about this record but I hope it doesn't put you off bidding on it. I will not be accepting returns for the reasons I have listed above.
