DAVID BOWIE -Lady Stardust- Ultra Rare Picture Disc For Japanese Exhibition.
This release was sold exclusively at the shop of the V&A's "David Bowie Is" exhibition at the Warehouse TERRADA G1 Building in Tokyo, Japan in 2017. The release was withdrawn from sale approximately four weeks into the January 8 to April 9 run before returning in late March.
Track A is a previously unissued 2016 stereo mix.
The A side features a Masayoshi Sukita shot taken from a session in February 1973, at RCA Studios in New York. Bowie is wearing a costume by Japanese designer, Kansai Yamamoto.
The Sukita photograph on the AA side, taken in Tokyo in 1980, is from a session that remained unpublished until the Genesis Editions book of Sukita’s Bowie photographs, Speed Of Life, in 2012.
The vinyl is mint, sealed and immaculate. The sticker is completely intact but there is a slight tear in the sleeve; this is very common with these sleeves.
