Description
I will declare a lower amount on the customs form for all countries so as to avoid/decrease high import charges. However, in the case of the EU all purchases are subject to VAT which eBay collect at point of sale. No shipping to Russia currently. David Bowie : Low A1 / B2 1st Press 1977 + Fan Club Insert + 12" Insert
This first pressing plays to a very high standard for the vast majority. S1 in particular is stunning and S2 has only a little interference the most obvious of which is three clicks on the final instrumental. Aside from that this side plays with very clean audio and only minimal background, a full grading can be found below.
The cover really does stand out! It is in superb condition with only very minimal wear on the spine and the front and back cover are stunning! No marking, bending or creasing anywhere. The 12" insert is also in superb shape and the collectable fan club insert has only one minor corner crease. The original inner sleeve is in excellent condition with only some age related fading around the edges.

Visual description
The vinyl is in excellent condition and still has a strong glossy look with no actual scratches. Under a bright light you can see some hairlines but there is nothing that stands out as such. The run outs grooves are very clean and you can easily read all the matrix info. The orange RCA Victor labels are pristine with no marking or spindle wear.
Play Grading
'Speed Of Life' plays with superb audio throughout with no interference whatsoever. The power and depth of the audio is first class, there are no negatives. It is Mint from start to finish including the fade out.
The intro on 'Breaking Glass' is perfect and the opening vocal section is just as strong and clear. A little further in there is a tick / light click and that is the only intrusion aside from a minor tick on the fade out. I couldn't quite decide between Near Mint- and Ex+ so I went with the latter :-)
'What In The World' plays with stunning precision through every section. With literally no background it has to grade as Mint
The long intro (!) on 'Sound And Vision' plays with outstanding clarity and definition and again there is no interference. the vocal section then plays to perfection with not so much as a minor static tick and the remainder is of the same high end standard. The definitive Mint version as it could not play any better.
'Always Crashing In The Same Car' once again shows how well this vinyl has been preserved and plays with great quality throughout. I only noticed one barely audible static 'moment' near the beginning and another on the fade out so I will grade as Mint- accordingly.
The intro on 'Be My Wife' is perfect and it proceeds in the same way. The vocal is so clean and the actual music plays with sharp definition also. Mint
'A New Career In A New Town' has only a couple of mega quiet statics on the relatively quiet intro and then plays with no clicks or pops for the remainder. There are a small number of very quiet statics during the quiet mid section but that is the only background. Near Mint
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
'Warszawa' has only very minimal light static on the intro and then plays with great clarity and depth from then onwards. There are no clicks or pops and only a small number of light statics, nothing intrusive. The 'vocal' section towards the end plays with stunning clarity - I will grade the intro as Ex+ and Near Mint for the remainder I think that is a fair assessment of the audio.
'Art Decade' has 5/6 static ticks on the intro and in the next section there are only a handful of minor statics. From then on the clarity of sound is incredible and 'as new' is no exaggeration. Just one static tick on the fade out. The opening section is VG+ and then Near Mint at the very least from then on.
The next instrumental 'Weeping Wall' plays with stunning clarity from start to finish. I only heard a couple of minor consecutive statics so overall Mint- is deserved.
The intro on 'Subterraneans' is perfect and the only interference are three clicks just soon after the one minute mark. I cannot see what is causing it at all! Aside from that this instrumental plays with tremendous clarity and warmth and the 'vocal' near the end is a fine example of that. Near Perfect apart from those two seconds! So Mint- for the vast majority and VG- for that brief moment.
The Cover, 12" Insert & Fan Club Insert
The cover is in superb condition with hardly any shelf wear. The top edge is perfect and the bottom edge has only a minimal amount of rubbing. The spine remains 100% legible and is only slightly indented here and there. All four corners are super clean with barely any wear and the opening edge is close to perfect with only a couple of very minor crimps near the top. The front cover is stunning and as stated still has the original sticker in the top right corner. The back cover is pristine! Never seen one this clean and the orange sticker is still affixed perfectly. There is a yellow line running down the right edge but that is a common feature of this album. A stunning example overall.
The 12" credits insert is in great shape with no marking and barely any creasing and the sought after fan club insert just has one crease by the lower left corner. It is complete and has not been filled in.

Postage & Packaging
I will only send items items worldwide via tracked shipping. This provides 'peace of mind' in case of loss or damage. The shipping costs are shown below and combined shipping is always offered. Any over-payment will always be refunded.
The Royal Mail only insure up to a value of £250 so if an item sells for more it may be wise to use a courier service (e.g. Parcelforce or DPD). An extra insurance premium will be required but I will not know the exact amount until the final sale price is known. Because of this I will sometimes have to estimate the cost and this will be shown in the listing. Please wait for the invoice before making payment and if you have any questions please feel free to ask. Many thanks.
All vinyls are packaged in strong over-sized custom made mailers with plenty of extra cardboard protection. They are placed inside separate poly-lined inners outside the cover so as to avoid seam splits in transit and then placed inside a PVC sleeve to provide even more protection. I pride myself on my high quality packaging as my feed confirms and if any customer has any specific requirements I am more than happy to help.
The mailers I use cost £1.00 each and I will use anything between 3-5 cardboard stiffeners which cost approx £0.18 each. There is also the cost of the poly-lined inner and PVC sleeve to consider, it all adds up! Not forgetting that eBay take 10% of the shipping fee also!!
