Description

SCARCE . . . . The David Bowie audio cassette version of his original soundtrack for the German film CHRISTIANE F, which chronicles the fate of a fan who loves his music and falls into drugs & prostitution. The film was made in Germany. David Bowie wrote all the songs and co-produced most of these tracks with Tony Visconti;  he worked with Harry Maslin on the others. There were long delays in making & releasing the film, which explains why the songs were recorded between 1976 and 1979 and the full soundtrack was not released until 1981 - and even then it was difficult to find.
