Description
This is a rare version of David Bowie's Scary Monsters (and Super Creeps) it is the Portuguese version from 1980 and a great copy for collectors.
This sleeve, insert and vinyl are all in really excellent condition, it also includes the plastic sleeve bag that the record was housed in!
I purchased it in a small lot of David Bowie vinyl and they were all mint unplayed records and this is the same as both the vinyl and label are completely unmarked. It is a genuine copy from 1980 as the other records were rca international reissues from the same year.
The sleeve is laminated and has no wear, scuff marks or discolouring, the spine edge just has some light creasing otherwise would be mint. The inner lyric sleeve is in perfect condition.
The matrix is A1 B1.
There is a good description from the just another Bowie Collection website as follows, I have played a couple of tracks of this album on my Ortofon 1.5g stylus and please pay attention to the sound description which I can confirm is true! -

Collector's notes: And another interesting variation. The Portuguese cover is fully laminated and has a slightly smaller reproduction of the cover design on the front. Note that the picture doesn't touch the left-hand margin of the cover. Moreover, the cover is heavily green-tinted, giving the picture a more lively, realistic look. The back of the cover is completely in black, green and white.
The sound quality is far below what one would expect from a European pressing of the time.
