Cover is very nice overall. Philips sticker top right. Front is clean but has visible paper loss near the top left. Spine is visibly worn but the name of the label and catalog number can still be made out. Corners are rubbed. The back is very clean. Inner gatefold has signs of age-related marks, a careful clean could probably improve it instantly.
LABELS: VG+
Labels are mostly very clean outside of a couple marks and spindle traces as pictured.
The vinyl has the 1st variant Philips labels identifiable by Essex Music Int. Ltd publishers credit for all songs.RECORD: NM
Absolutely gorgeous looking record (see video!). Both sides are glossy and near-markless with just a couple light hairlines. Even moreso, the sound itself surpasses the beauty of the record. No exaggeration, this is one of the best sounding records I've ever heard. The way the music envelopes the room, the crispness of David's vocals, the swelling symphony of overwhelming, and punching, sound on Cygnet Committee is honestly one of the highlights of my time not just record collecting, but listening to music itself. THIS is how you're meant to listen to this album, no doubt about it!

I have cleaned this album on my Loricraft in order to give it an accurate description and have also ultrasonically cleaned it on my Degritter to make sure any dust/dirt that sat on the vinyl for over 50 years is blasted out as effectively as possible! So for this purchase you'll get a 50 year old, very good condition sleeve, and near mint condition ultrasonically Degritter cleaned and Loricraft vacuum'd beautiful first press David Bowie (Space Oddity)!
