DAVID BOWIE - STATION TO STATION
UK FIRST PRESSING in NEAR MINT CONDITION. Excellent condition cover w/ insert and original inner sleeve. Flawless record.
I'm Selling My Collection: From 1970 - 1983 I was a rock critic in the UK and US - Sounds, NME, CREEM, Rolling Stone, etc. - major pieces included The Stones, Jimmy Page, Queen, Bowie, Patti Smith, and in 1976 chronicled the first year of Punk. [It's all here: http://jonh-ingham.blogspot.co.uk/]. Somewhere in the middle I did PR at EMI and Island. In 1977 I managed Generation X and in 1980 the Go-Gos. I've run a club, been a DJ, ran labels...All the time, I collected records. Now I'm selling them.
EVERY RECORD & CD I LIST IS MINE - 99% of the time I got them when they were released. I really took care of them - I had a great stereo and a Shure V-15 cartridge. I did my best to keep everything in perfect condition - not easy with some of the flimsy cardboard used for covers.
There's a lot of bs on eBay hyping up how rare the seller's records are and how perfect the condition is. I describe these records as honestly as I can. The discs are inspected in daylight. Please use the Zoom function on the photos to check for yourself.
ABOUT THIS RECORD:
This is a UK FIRST PRESSING in NEAR MINT condition. I reviewed the album in Sounds, and got this review copy over a week before it was released. I played it once to record to cassette - then played that.The flimsy cover is original matt version and perfect. It has the matt inner insert with musicians credits. It has the original "Important Notice" inner sleeve with R.S. 1-76 (January 1976) in the corner.
Matrix numbers: APL1 1327 - A - 1E / APL1 1327 - B - 1E
CONDITION:
Record is 100%. Perfect - No marks or scratches. Perfect labels with no spindle wear. Lovely looking disc.
Cover is 100%. No marks. No wear on corners. Perfect. Check the photo under the Zoom feature.
Inner sleeve is 100%. No slits or tears.
Inner insert is 100%. No tears or marks. It was probably taken out a couple of times for reviewing purposes and then kept inside the cover.
I am selling all my classic Bowie LPs - all first pressings - and a lot of other classic LPs from the early 70s. Check my listings.
