This BBC recording is an outstanding document of David Bowie in concert during his week-long series of performances at the Universal Ampitheater in September 1974. While the set list is very similar to that of DAVID LIVE (recorded in Philadelphia during July 1974), many feel that the L.A. recording captures Bowie and his band in better spirits than the better-known Philadelphia tapes. It also contains rare renditions of "It's Gonna Be Me" and "John, I'm Only Dancing (Again)."
The LPs boast beautiful full-color covers and come in a black box, along with a facsimile of the September 1974 concert program.
