UK RCA RECORDS (LSP 4813) FIRST ISSUE RE-PRESSING (November 1972) OF DAVID BOWIE'S WONDERFUL DEBUT LP (Previously released on Philips Records SBL 7912 and selling virtually nothing the LP was re-issued after the success of Ziggy Stardust) AND THIS COPY IS IN SUPERB CONDITION (barely been played) AND IT DELIVERS BEAUTIFULLY WARM AND RICH AUDIO - SOUNDS SENSATIONAL THROUGHOUT
BEING A VERY FIRST PRESSING FROM NOVEMBER 1972 THE SONGS HAVE NO 'MAINMAN' CREDITS ON EITHER THE LABELS OR INNER SLEEVE - THESE CREDITS APPEAR ON THIS LP AFTER DECEMBER 1972
PRESSED ON QUALITY MID-WEIGHT VINYL (very thick and chunky for RCA) WITH THE FIRST ISSUE SMOOTH LABELS

LABELS: The labels are clean, fresh and unmarked with no real spindle traces to be seen - this copy has seen little play - NEAR MINT
VINYL Visual: The vinyl surfaces retain their original deep, like-new glossy sheen and are practically unmarked - NEAR MINT
VINYL Audio: Really sensational audio quality - crystal clear, deep, rich and detailed sound - beautifully recorded and engineered and on playback at a very loud volume (which is how I always listen to my records prior to listing and it's always a real pleasure to return to this one) the audio is clean and practically flawless. There are a few minor light 'ticks' between Janine/An Occasional Dream but otherwise, a beautifully clean pressing- critically graded NEAR MINT/EXCELLENT+ for audio - this is a fantastic copy of this wonderful LP - in my opinion, pretty unbeatable and very highly recommended indeed
SLEEVE: The sleeve is clean and unmarked with little edge/spine wear to speak of and only some light half-moon creases on the opening edge - EXCELLENT
INNER SLEEVE: The pink lyric inner sleeve is printed on very thin and very delicate paper but apart from one or two small, minor light marks and a tiny split to the bottom edge (1.5cms) it's in lovely condition - EXCELLENT (The record is now housed and will be posted in a new inner sleeve to avoid any 'knifing' damage to the original during transit)
POSTER: The glossy 19" x 22" poster (printed on one side) is in practically untouched/unhung condition - NEAR MINT
