Vinyl: Excellent Near Mint (The vinyl looks superb and has retained its original high gloss sheen)
Company Sleeve: Excellent (Original RCA green / orange paper sleeve which is in excellent condition)
Labels: Near Mint (Large centre hole. Both labels are very clean and unmarked......PLEASE READ BELOW ABOUT THE LABELS)

RARE ORIGINAL UK RCA MISPRINT 'NO TEXT' LABEL VARIATION OF THIS LEGENDARY DAVID BOWIE 7" SINGLE.
I've NEVER seen another copy with NO TEXT PRINT on the 'STARMAN' A-side LABEL. It's completely BLANK except for the RCA Victor logo in white print on the plain orange label !!
This is the only ONE I have seen in over 40 years of collecting Bowie !! The B side (Suffragette City) has the regular printing with artist, song title, catalogue number etc printed in black and is the usual RCA orange label.
The vinyl is in Excellent near Mint condition, both sides play and sound great. Comes housed in its original RCA paper sleeve.
I obtained this incredible rarity over 40 years ago from a former employee of RCA records. As the 45 has never had a centre was this produced for jukebox use, pre production copies, promotional purposes or was it a printing error at the RCA factory ? Whatever the reason it's almost certainly UNIQUE and a major rarity for any serious David Bowie collector.
