Description
This is a 3 track 12" EP titled 'Arnold Corns aka David Bowie and The Spiders From Mars - Man in the Middle'
On Krazy Kat records - matrix NOR 001A6C1 / NOR001B 6C1
Sleeve notes are as follows:
"In 1971 David Bowie and his clothes designer Freddi Burretti recorded under the name Arnold Corns.
Bowie and Burretti turned up for an interview in dresses and Bowie said he believed The Rolling Stones were finished and
Arnold Corns would be the next Stones.
David Bowie had written a number of songs with Burretti in mind and when Arnold Corns made no impact at all he used the songs as a blueprint
for Ziggy Stadust.
Burrettis contribution to Arnold Corns was minimal. His only recorded vocal was on Man in the Middle but it is rumoured that
even on ths track his voice wa 'mysteriously lost' in the final mix.
The rest featured Bowie on vocals exclusively.

Woody Woodmansey- Drums
Burrettis real contribution was as a designer. All clothes used on the Ziggy Stardust tour was designed and made by him. The Arnold Corns session appeared as a single in 1971 on B&C Records
and has since then not been available. Consequently these recordings are every Bowie collectors dream."

Sleeve is an EX - due only to a slight split at the top which hasnt actually gone through - worth mentioning.
Extremely nice - these dont come up often - recordings are just superb!!
